Cross country training

Cross Country Training

In week three of term three, we sadly started cross country training. Like most of us, I was very disappointed, but I decided to try my hardest anyways. We were given an option to walk, run or run competitively. Since I didn't want to be competitive, but didn't want to go to slow, I decided to run. The course was to run around the outside of the school once, then run around half again. I started to get tired towards the end of the first lap, but I kept running. Around the middle of the second lap, I took a 14 second break, and kept running. The next day, I thought that since I only stopped once the day before, I could run the whole time. But then Anjani kept grabbing my arm so that failed. Then I tried again the third time we did it, but I my ankle got sore in the middle of running, and I got to tired. For the next two days, it was bad weather so we stayed inside. Then the next time I decided to see if it would be better to walk some then run some, or "ralking" as my friends called it. I did end up running most of the time, which I guess is good but I left my friends behind. Right now (today) my goal is still trying to not stop for a break the whole time.
